I have run this list for several years now.
=20
This year I will be away quite a lot and will find it hard to log on
regularly and moderate the emails.

Would somebody please consider taking over moderating this list?

There is nothing technical to do, it will still be hosted and supported
by Gconnect.
=20
Every time an email is sent to the list, it is held by the server until
the moderator (me) approves it. This is to get rid of spam and
inappropriate stuff. To do this all one has to do is log on to the lists
website and either reject or approve the emails - it takes about 2
minutes. About once every few months it's nice to housekeep the list and
remove the inactive addresses. The list admin website is simple and easy
to use.

It would also be nice if the list could be run more proactively - ie
some effort is made to gather news for distribution. At the moment I
simply rely on stuff coming in.

The list can have several moderators - which would be even better.

Any volunteers? I'll co-moderate for a few more months yet.
