*_January UKCRA Dinner_*
A date for your diary "Saturday 14th January The Fox @ Excel" at
the London Boat Show
As a small change from previous years we have decided to stage this
dinner on a Saturday night so all of you guys who don't live in the
metropolis and have to travel, may want to attend as well.
It is a Saturday evening intended to suit those visiting the show on
either the Saturday or the Sunday. Also of interest there is going to be
pursuit race on the Sunday in the Docks just outside the Excel buildings
as we go to press there have been 6 confirmed entrants from catamarans
so come and support your cat sailors as they brave the January weather!
For some years now we have organized this as an informal event, and
found it creates an enjoyable and useful forum for discussing common
catamaran concerns - and also to meet up with old friends and meet new
ones who all share the same love of catamaran sailing.
The venue is the Fox at Excel, just outside the Western Entrance. The
show closes at 7pm and we'd go straight there: a table (for 25 ish at
the moment )is booked for 7.30pm. According to Richard Allen this is a
popular "after show" meeting place.
On behalf of UKCRA I very much hope that you and your partners will be
able to attend this UKCRA dinner.
Please could you let me know if you are planning to come so I can get
the numbers roughly right.
