Dear F18 Sailor,
We are organising a container for the Formula 18 World Championships in
Yeppoon next February.=20
Yeppoon is situated at the Southern most point of the Great Barrier
Reef. The wind normally builds from F2-F5 by midday and then back to F2
by evening. The average air temp is 35 degrees and the average water
temp is 25 degrees so pack your board shorts! This is going to be the
first worlds held outside Europe and may be the last which doesn't=92t

A container has been arranged to be loaded on the weekend after the
inland nationals at Grafham Water. The total cost is dependant on the
number of boats, but should be around =A3800. The deposit will be =A3400 and
will have to be paid by the end of September. These prices have been
discounted for the worlds and are considerably cheaper than chartering a
boat for =A32000. Spaces are allocated on a first come first serve basis
as there are a maximum of 12 boats to a container and there are only 7
places left, so if you want to go you will have to hurry up!=20
The return flights to Brisbane are as little as =A3595 per person return,
through flights worldwide if booked before 23rd September.
The accommodation will be at the four star Rydges resort which is right
on the beach by the sailing club. The resort has bars, restaurants and a
swimming pool, they also provide a shuttle bus to the local town
Rockhampton. The accommodation will cost =A320 per person per night based
on four sharing, which has greatly reduced for F18 sailors.=20
